Location was perfect. There is a bus stations in front of the hotel. Reasonable price
It was very uncomfortable to take a shower becasue of low ceiling. (I could not stand straight in the bathtub). No elevator and very steep stairs.
Location is very close to the airport, very frendly staff
Poor english speaking staff
A good arrangment with cooking and dining facilities, good wifi and perfectly located for my business needs....on an extremely convenient bus route.
This implies that there must be something wrong....there wasn't; I was entirely satisfied
It a nice studio setup if properly maintained and reasonably priced.
Beds, Beds, Beds....
Location was perfect. Easy to find. Staff were very helful and friendly. Internet was very good. The appartment had all the basics and it was comfortable enough.
It faces a main road so a bit noisy. Slightly over priced but that is standard for Geneva! Would be good if cleaning products were provided, specially for washing up. Not enough light in the dining room
the restaurant attached to the hotel, although not part of the hotel. great owner and food.
the room was a bit cold, the bathroom was much colder, the lights were a bid dim, the room needed to be re-painted and the couch in the living area of the studio needed to be replaced.
There was no heating and hot water during the second day of the stay in this hotel. However, the management does not even warn about this even though there was freezing temperature outside.
Friendly staff. Very good size apartment for the price of a modest hotel room
The location on the bus route between my conference venue and the airport made access convenient. The little neighborhood restaurant nearby was friendly and provided good value. The facilities were bare bones studio apartment style located in a renovated attic with no windows - only skylights with light but no view. Lots of hot water with good pressure and the internet worked fine.
The bathroom was pretty cold and the stairs were pretty steep for manhandling two suitcases.
The Location, size and convenience. Staff were helpful and courteous when I spoke to them over the phone. Kitchen was well equipped.
Shower was too small, should get a bigger curtain to stop spillage on door frame and outside the shower ring. No cleaning material detergent provided, got too small single beds instead of one double bed. There are too many cracks along the walls
Convenient location, can be ok for solo travellers.
The mail problem was that the hospitality of hotel owner has clear limits. We were travelling with a young child and asked for a late check-out. We got no response but were waiting - knowing they must be busy. They did not refuse, probably they knew we would book another hotel if they would say no (surely we would), but when the time came, they simply kicked us out to the street with "it is not my problem that you are not yet packed and it is not my problem that you have a child". Therefore I recommend to check all the conditions beforehand with the hotel and for families with young children to think twice and maybe choose another property. There is no reception (though the lady at the restaurant who was giving the key was very kind), access to our room was very difficult with the stroller and in other countries, this hotel would have no chance to get 3 stars, but maybe Switzerland has another system..
The only acceptable part of this stay was that the bartender(s) with whom I dealt directly were reasonable and accommodating.
The hotel is located 0.7 km to be traveled by bus #5 (finding bus stop + wait + driving in virtually standing still traffic ~ 25-35 min). 1. IT DOES NOT HAVE ITS OWN PARKING. 2. THE PUBLIC PARKING ACROSS THE STREET IS SMALL AND SO FULL THAT ONE CANNOT ACCESS IT BY ITS SINGLE INGRESS/EXIT POINT These facts were not evident, to me at least, from the description of the hotel. In all fairness, this is mentioned in the hotel description but with such “fine print” that it escaped me! If one has a car, other than parking it under one’s pillow, there is no place to put it on a radius of ~3 km (Explored and tested over 45 minutes. I ultimately returned the car to the airport!). The room (#19): very sparse furniture; the advertised “kitchenette is a stack of plates and a few utensils; there is a fridge; the bathroom is a afterthought plastic enclosure added to the room without any electrical outlets and a unhinged toilet seat; all power outlets are unaccessible unless you have a specific Swiss adaptor - unlike any of the other hotels with international clients services; THE WIFI IS NONFUNCTIONAL. THE PHONE NUMBER MAY OR MAY NOT BE ACCESSED DIRECTLY; DURING THE NIGHT THERE IS NO ATTENDANT AND THE RECEPTIONIST IS OFF SITE, THE ON SITE SERVICE BEING OFFERED BY A SINGLE (BUSY) BARTENDER. The offsite receptionist (Sophia, under the supervision of manager “Mr. Isa)) refused to refund my reservation when I told her that I cannot stay having a car that cannot be parked. I believe they were correct in the contractual sense, but you should hope no better from the management if you choose to stay there, as I did. The total price for this one night package was 192.10 SF (just about 200 US$) You be the judge….. Andrei
